| Principal Profiles
 Cherry Gray Williamson is our Director of Sales and a seasoned technology and accounting professional. She has been working with financial software in various capacities since 1982. She is a certified Solution Selling Salesperson through Sage Software, and has led the company in sales to become a Top 3 MAS 500 Partner for Sage Software, and the #1 MAS 500 Partner in Atlanta. Cherry is one of 12 people invited to participate on the Sage Business Partner Advisory Council for the Business Management Division.
Prior to Emerald TC, Cherry was the President of First Edge Atlanta, a company that also provided business management and financial technology to companies in the Southeast, and a Managing Partner for First Edge Sornson, LLC after a merger. Under Cherry's sales management, the companies received numerous sales awards over an eight-year period. Cherry holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama.
Outside of work, Cherry lives to go to horse shows. Her daughter competes in hunter/jumper with her horse 'Step Aside' which keeps them both busy almost year round. However, off season, Cherry loves playing tennis with her husband, and their two Labs are happy to retrieve any stray balls.
 Michael Yearty is our Director of Technology and is experienced in both accounting and technology. He is a certified consultant with Sage Software, and is a certified Master Developer for the MAS 500 product. Michael is both a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA).
Upon receiving a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Georgia, Michael was a Senior Accountant and the Financial Database Administrator at the Atlanta location of Kurt Salmon Associates (KSA), a global management-consulting firm. At KSA, Mike was part of the implementation team for the SQL server based version of Epicor software, and served as the database administrator.
Prior to Emerald TC, Mike was a consultant for First Edge Atlanta, a company that provided business management and financial technology to companies in the Southeast. He has over 18 years experience in consulting and implementation.
Mike's favorite pastime is boating on Lake Lanier. He enjoys all water sports including wake boarding and jet skiing.
 Libby Yearty is the Director of Consulting for Emerald TC and has over twelve years experience as an accounting and software professional. Libby is a MAS 500 and MAS 90/200 certified consultant, an FRx Certified Report Designer and Consultant. Libby has attended several leadership and project management courses, and regularly leads implementation teams and training courses for MAS 500, MAS 90/200, and FRx.
Upon receiving a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from California State University in Fullerton, Libby began her career working in various accounting positions, including Accounting Manager at Scientific Games (scratch off lottery tickets) International in Atlanta. In addition to her duties as Accounting Manager, she was responsible for implementing Epicor the company's new ERP system. She enjoyed this task so much that prior to Emerald TC she worked as a Software Consultant implementing Epicor, Great Plains and MAS 500. She has also worked with MAS500 from its inception 12 years ago.
Libby, along with Mike and their three sons, love spending weekends boating on Lake Lanier. The whole family enjoys the water and while Libby is sitting in the sun reading a good book, the boys are riding the jet ski, tubing and wake boarding. |
